How to apply

Online application is the only valid mode for this recruitment. The flow is: register → log in → fill the form → upload documents → pay the fee → submit → download confirmation. Read every step below before starting because once you submit, most personal details cannot be changed.

The Phase-I Exam Date for this application is 22 Jun 2026. We strongly recommend completing the application at least 2-3 days before the deadline — the official portal usually sees heavy load on the last day, and payment-gateway timeouts in the final hours can cause submissions to fail.

The application fee varies by category and is listed in the Application Fee section below. Payment can be made online using debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI, or any accepted digital wallet. Save the payment receipt — you will need it if the system requires manual verification.

  1. 1 Visit the official NTA portal at ugcnet.nta.nic.in or use the direct exam city link.

  6. 6 Print both documents and carry them with a valid photo ID to the exam centre.
