The Last Date to Apply for this application is 09 Jun 2026. We strongly recommend completing the application at least 2-3 days before the deadline — the official portal usually sees heavy load on the last day, and payment-gateway timeouts in the final hours can cause submissions to fail.

Preparation tips
1Revise Class 11–12 Mathematics thoroughly — algebra, trigonometry, calculus and statistics carry the most weight in Paper I.
2Read a quality national newspaper daily to build your Current Events and General Knowledge base for the GAT.
3Practise previous years' NDA question papers under timed conditions to manage the 2½-hour papers efficiently.
4For Air Force Flying branch, check vision and height standards early — medical disqualification at a late stage wastes preparation time.
5Start physical fitness training now — SSB GTO tasks demand stamina, upper-body strength and team coordination.
The deadline to submit your online application for UPSC NDA 2 2026 is 9 June 2026 at 6:00 PM. No applications will be accepted after this time.
The NDA & NA (II) 2026 written examination is scheduled for 13 September 2026. It will be held at examination centres across India.
A total of 394 vacancies are notified — 208 for the Army, 42 for the Navy, 120 for the Air Force (Flying + Ground Duties), and 24 for the Naval Academy 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme.
For the Army wing, Class 12 pass (any stream) is sufficient. For the Navy, Air Force and Naval Academy wings, Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is mandatory. Candidates currently appearing in Class 12 are also eligible to apply.
You must have been born on or after 1 January 2008 and on or before 1 January 2011. Only unmarried candidates are eligible.
