How to apply
The entire application is online — candidates register on the official portal, fill the form, upload documents, pay the fee online, and download the confirmation. Follow the numbered steps below carefully, because once submitted most fields cannot be edited.
The Key Challenge Last Date for this application is 11 Jun 2026. We strongly recommend completing the application at least 2-3 days before the deadline — the official portal usually sees heavy load on the last day, and payment-gateway timeouts in the final hours can cause submissions to fail.
The application fee varies by category and is listed in the Application Fee section below. Payment can be made online using debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI, or any accepted digital wallet. Save the payment receipt — you will need it if the system requires manual verification.
1Visit the official candidate login portal at examinationservices.nic.in using the link provided.
2Log in with your CUET UG 2026 Application Number and Date of Birth.
3Navigate to the 'Answer Key' section and download the provisional answer key for your subject(s).
4Compare the key with your recorded responses displayed on the portal.
5For any question you wish to challenge, click 'Raise Objection', provide your justification, and pay ₹200 per challenged question online.
6Submit the challenge before 11 June 2026 and save the confirmation for your records.
Selection process
The selection process is conducted in 5 stages: CUET UG CBT Examination (11 May – 07 June 2026), Provisional Answer Key Release & Candidate Objection Window, NTA Reviews Objections & Publishes Final Answer Key, Result / Score Declaration Based on Final Answer Key and University-wise Admission Counselling Using CUET UG Score. Candidates must clear each stage to be eligible for the next, and the final merit list is prepared on the combined performance across all stages. Detailed marking schemes, qualifying cut-offs, and any tie-breaker rules are listed in the official notification linked above.
